What is black soap?

Some of you might know black soap and what it serves. Most people use the soap for the body and face and as an alternative for the natural benefits. You can apply  black soap on any skin type. So you can not hurt your face with this natural soap. You can use it as a scrub by using it pure on the face with a face brush. Add rose water to make it useful as a face cleanser.

Black soap comes from West Africa, although it is called black soap, it is actually a dark brown color and has a fragile structure. Adding some water to black soap can make the texture softer. It does not smell like most facial cleansers, of course, with a perfume, this soap is 100 percent natural and therefore smells very earthy. If the smell causes too much trouble.

The bad thing, it stings as hell in your eyes. So you do not want that stuff inside of your eyeball. The pain is for real because of the anti-bacterial action, the soap ensures that all impurities are killed.

So I always add some rose water or water to soften the structure, because I almost always use it for my face.

Do it this way

Take a face brush cleanser or take it in hand

Add a little water or rose water

Work softly and make circular movements.

Do this for 2 minutes.

Make sure your face is rinsed with lukewarm or cold water.

Dip your face dry with a towel

A possible after-care / moisturizer is definitely recommended!

You can wash your face with black soap twice every day. Because of the natural effect, this doesn’t harm your skin at all.

You can buy black soap almost everywhere, but make sure it’s a natural black soap! So be sure to inform yourself and make sure you get the right natural black soap in your house.
