You can compare make up brushes with painting brushes, you MUST clean them for the best results!

Everyone knows this is a must. If you are a person who uses a lot of makeup and uses lots of brushes then this is definitely recommended. Even though you know that occasionally you have to rinse your makeup brushes, but very few people know that with water alone this is not enough. Some makeup brush cleansers are extremely pricey and do not even achieve the optimal effect to get such brushes completely clean. With this DIY you can get your brushes all the way today without spending too much money, whether you pay 20 euros for a brush cleanser or do it yourself, the results are just as good!

Why do you need to clean your brushes in a timely manner?

The fact that your brushes are used daily or weekly depends on person to person. Nevertheless, you must realize that every time you apply makeup with brushed skin cells and oil is taken into the hair, and as time can cause this for severe acne outbreaks. Even if you suffer from a pimple or open wound, this would cause worse infections. And of course, you do not want to touch your skin. However, cleaning your brushes every 1/2 or 2 weeks is recommended for the “life span” of your brushes.

What are the expectations of cleaning makeup brushes?

The hair should be disinfected.

The brush’s metal and base must be disinfected

The hair (genuine or synthetic) should not be broken.

It must remain soft for perfect results.

Foundation or any other powder should be completely washed out.

This is what you need

Detergent

Water

Vinegar

A glass bowl

How to:

Add hot water halfway to your glass

Add 3 tablespoons of vinegar.

4 drops of detergent.

Mix it well and add the brushes.

Leave this for 15 to 20 minutes. You will see that the color as time changes to the color of your used foundation and other powders. Then remove them and rinse them gently with lukewarm water. Then put them on a towel and, of course, let them dry!

Make sure you your water doesn’t surpass the mental part of your brushes.
